iLF Magdeburg is a qualified laboratory of the Volkswagen Group for testing using the DUT Chamber Method

Since the end of April, the iLF Magdeburg has been officially authorised as a qualified laboratory for initial material sampling in accordance with the Volkswagen test specification PV 3942 (Testing Using the DUT Chamber Method).

The prerequisite for this was successful participation in the VW round robin test.

Our laboratory was added to the list of ‘qualified laboratories for VW 50180 test procedures’.

This means that the following tests can now be offered as part of approval processes for materials and components of the vehicle interior and boot as well as for parts that come into indirect contact with the interior air:

   • Emission of organic compounds according to PV 3341
   • Odor test according to PV 3900
   • DUT chamber method according to PV 3942

As part of VW requalification processes, we also offer the following emission test methods:

   • Fogging behavior according to PV 3015
   • Formaldehyde emission according to PV 3925

With the successful qualification, the iLF Magdeburg enhances its position as a reliable partner for high-quality material testing in the automotive industry.
