The iLF Magdeburg now has a 12m3 test chamber available for the corrosion cycle test according to DIN 55635.
Prior to the publication of the standard, an extensive interlaboratory test took place in the DIN-AK NA 002-00-07-18 "Climate change test" in which, among other things, the comparability of results was evaluated when samples were relocated, when two test devices and so-called combination devices were used.
The DIN standard, formerly VDA 233-102, basically allows the samples to be relocated. However, the automotive industry has concerns about the comparability of results. In this case, the use of a combined device is recommended.
