Visit from the world of politics

On 10 December 2024, Member of the Bundestag Dr. Marcus Faber (FDP) visited us together with Mr. Thomas Gürke (FDP Magdeburg). The aim was to get to know our company and to talk to the employees.

The Managing Director, Dr. Susanne Bender, gave a company presentation on the long-established location of iLF Magdeburg, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this summer. The company is a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing service provider for material testing, environmental simulation and surface characterisation. In recent years, iLF Magdeburg has mainly done business with industry in Germany and Europe, but is now also active worldwide. In particular, the iLF has become an important business partner for car manufacturers and their suppliers, the railway industry and companies in the paint and colour industry. During a guided tour of the company, Dr. Faber and his team were given an insight into the complex testing technology, the testing conditions and, above all, the technical expertise of our experienced employees.

In an open and constructive discussion, Managing Director Dr. Bender and the heads of department Ms. C. Dreyer, Ms. K. Döring and Mr. S. Nenke explained the current challenges of our industry. They made an honest assessment of the economic situation in Germany and discussed possible solutions.
